Travel (Youth & Girls Only)

RYHA Travel Hockey is for Youth 10U/Squirt, 12U/Peewee & 14U/Bantam and Girls Only 10U/12U/15U levels.

There are separate registration pages for RYHA Mite Hockey and RYHA Junior Gold.

2025-2026 Tryout Dates

  • Boys Tryouts will be 9/26 goalies 9/27 skaters thru 10/4 
  • Girls tryouts 10/4 thru 10/9


Warm-Up Package

Sizing Selection for 2025 - 2026 Season is TBD.

RYHA Travel Players will pay $150 at registration for their Warm-Up Apparenl package.

Jerseys

Travey players new to RYHA or moving into their FIRST year of Squirts, Peewees or Bantams will automatically receive new jerseys.

Additionally, all Girls Only Travel players will receive new jerseys in the 2025-2026 season.

During registration you will enter your player's jersey size and if needed, have an opportunity to update it later at one of the Jersey Try On Sessions.

Jersey Try On Dates:

9/4 5:30-8:30pm @ RAC

9/10 5:30-8:30pm @ RAC

9/14 3-6pm @ Rogers Hockey Kickoff Event.

Any returning players who are not moving to a new level and who need to purchase replacement jerseys will need to select the $100 replacement jersey option during registration. Be prepared to enter the size of the jersey set you need to purchase.

Family Discounts

RYHA Families registering more than one Travel and/or Returning Mite players qualify to recieve a discount of $50 off per Returning Mite player and $200 off per Travel Player.

A qualifing Travel player is any RYHA Youth 10U/Squirt or Girls Only 10U, Youth 12U/Peewee or Girls Only 12U, Youth 14U/Bantam or Girls only 15U

A qualifing Returning Mite player is a Mite (includes MiniMite and 8U) registered with RYHA who is not a New Mite registered at the first time skater rate.

Discount Codes for Travel are listed below. Unlike last year, the discount code is now entered on the PRICING / Program selection page - not at checkout. If applicable, record the discount code now so you can enter it during registration.

Any inappropriate use of family discount codes will result in a fine equal to double the amount of the inappropriate discount taken, and players will become ineligible for any future discounts with RYHA.

Move Up Requests

All non-grade eligible move up requests must be submitted in writing for review and approval to the Development Director at hockeydirector@rogershockey.com and to ryha.hockeyreg@gmail.com at least 14 days prior to tryouts. Please register your player at their age appropriate level. You will be notified by the Hockey Director if the move up request is approved and if so, your player's registration will be updated to reflect the higher lever along with any necessary fee adjustments.

All grade eligible move ups as defined by Minnesota Hockey will need to register at the appropriate level and email ryha.hockeyreg@gmail.com with a request to update the player's registration to the next level. Fee adjustments will be made at that time. Grade eligible move ups only apply to players with June, July and August birthdates immediately following the age cutoff date. Once a player has moved up to play with their grade, they must stay moved up with that grade unless they obtain written permission from the District 10 to move back down and play with their age level.

New grade eligible Mite/U8 moving up to Youth 10U/Squirts or Girls Only 10U - send proof of school & grade enrollment to ryha.hockeyreg@gmail.com.

Important Registration Information

Players will not be allowed to participate in tryouts or any RYHA functions until the following are complete:

 - Player registration is complete through the USA Hockey website and RYHA website.

 - Player's parent/guardian has atteneded the preseason parent meeting.

- Players with a MN Hockey school waiver have emailed proof of school enrollment to ryha.hockeyreg@gmail.com

- All outstanding fees to RYHA or Anoka-Rogers Co-Op have been paid.

- Any additional requirements as required by USA Hockey, Minnesota Hockey, or District 10 have been met.

Cancellations

Per the RYHA policy manual, cancellation requests must be made within 30 days of the first RYHA funded team event. A cancellation fee of 25% will be assessed (based on the assigned team/level.) Bantam/15U level players are required to pay a $700 deposit, which is non-refundable if the player decides to play Varsity/JV. 

Season ending injury related cancellations made by January 15 will receive a prorated refund of fees. No refunds will be made after January 15.  

USA Hockey fees, MN Hockey fees, and/or arena surcharge are non-refundable in the case of cancellation.

Fees

RYHA registration fees do not cover team expenses incurred from additional tournaments, games, practices, or outside training scheduled by your team coach or team manager. Fees to cover these expenses will be collected by the team manager or maintained through a slush fund. Additionally, the team may collect funds used for team meals, end of season gifts, etc.

Step 1

Each player must be registered with USA Hockey for the current season prior to registering with RYHA.

You will enter the player's unique registration confirmation number during RYHA registration.

Step 2

Reminder to be ready to take note of your family discount code (if applicable) to use on the PRICING / Program slection page.

Players purchasing replacement jerseys or receiving RYHA-provided new jerseys (new to RYHA, Girls only Travel, or players entering their first year of Youth 10U/Squirts, 12U/Peeweeks, 14U/Bantams be ready to enter jersey size, name for back of jersey, and preferred number choices.

Step 3

You will pay the warm-up apparel fee during registration but must complete the order form separately.
